1. OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Voltin (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
These Terms apply to all users of the site, including customers requesting EV charger installation, electrical upgrades, consultations, or related services.
2. SERVICES PROVIDED
Voltin provides residential electrical services including but not limited to:
- EV charger installation (Level 2 and related systems)
- Electrical panel upgrades and load capacity assessments
- Wiring, conduit installation, and circuit installation
- Charger relocation and troubleshooting
- On-site consultations and estimates
All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and compliance with local electrical codes.
3. ESTIMATES AND PRICING
- Estimates provided are non-binding and subject to change upon on-site inspection.

- Electrical panel condition
- Distance and routing complexity
- Permit requirements
- Code compliance upgrades
We reserve the right to revise pricing prior to commencing work.
4. PERMITS AND CODE COMPLIANCE
- Where required, permits may be obtained by Voltin or the customer (as agreed).
- All work will comply with applicable Texas electrical codes and local Houston regulations.
- Additional costs may apply if upgrades are required to meet code.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to:
- Provide accurate property and electrical information
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to the installation area
- Disclose any known electrical issues or prior modifications
- Ensure pets, obstacles, and hazards are cleared before service
Failure to meet these conditions may result in delays or additional charges.
6. SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS
- Appointments must be scheduled in advance

We reserve the right to reschedule due to:
- Weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Equipment availability
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a service fee
- No-shows may be charged a visit fee
7. PAYMENTS
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger projects, Voltin reserves the right to require a deposit prior to commencing work.
We accept multiple forms of payment, including but not limited to:
- Venmo
- Cash App
- Zelle
- PayPal
- Wire transfer
- ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfer
- Credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express
- Mobile payment methods, including Apple Pay and Google Pay
Voltin reserves the right to modify accepted payment methods at any time.
Payment Terms:
- Full payment is required immediately upon completion unless otherwise specified
- Deposits, if required, are non-refundable once materials are purchased or work has commenced
- Any outstanding balances may be subject to collection efforts and/or legal action
Transaction Fees:
- Certain payment methods may incur processing fees, which may be passed on to the customer where permitted by law
Failure to remit payment may result in:
- Suspension or refusal of future services
- Additional fees
- Legal action to recover outstanding amounts
8. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Workmanship Warranty:
Voltin may provide a limited workmanship warranty covering installation defects for a defined period.
Exclusions:
Warranty does NOT cover:
- Manufacturer defects (covered by manufacturer)
- Pre-existing electrical issues
- Misuse, damage, or modifications after installation
Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Voltin shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service
9. THIRD-PARTY EQUIPMENT
Voltin installs third-party EV chargers and electrical equipment.
We are not responsible for:
- Manufacturer defects
- Software or app-related issues
- Warranty claims on devices
Customers must contact the manufacturer for product-related issues.
10. SITE CONDITIONS AND UNFORESEEN ISSUES
If unforeseen issues arise (including but not limited to outdated wiring or insufficient panel capacity):
- Work may be paused
- Additional costs may be quoted
- Customer approval is required before proceeding
11. PROPERTY DAMAGE
We take reasonable care during installation.
However:
- Minor cosmetic impacts (such as drywall access for wiring) may be required
- We are not responsible for hidden structural or pre-existing issues
Any damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
12. WEBSITE USE
By using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to interfere with site functionality
- Provide false or misleading information
We reserve the right to restrict access for violations.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including logos, branding, text, and images, is the property of Voltin and may not be used without written permission.
14. PRIVACY
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located within Texas.
16. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.
